Currently working as the Lead, Rhino Conservation and One Heath for WWF India. He is leading the Rhino Conservation work for the organization pan-India since 2015 and engaged in multiple sectors of landscape-based conservation. He is trained in forensics and is leading the implementation of the RhoDIS India program, a wildlife forensics approach to combat rhino poaching in India. He is involved in the rhino range expansion programs in the state of Assam, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar from planning to ground execution. He is a member of various government formed committees entrusted the responsibility of strengthening rhino conservation in India. He has also been leading the One Health portfolio of the organization since 2022 and has planned and implemented programs to control risks of disease transmission and initiated research on wildlife diseases. His other areas of expertise and interests include GIS, watershed management and community engagement.
