Dr Bhaskar Choudhury

Dr Bhaskar Choudhury is a wildlife veterinarian working in the field of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation since 2000. He was the founder wildlife veterinarian for CWRC, a wildlife rehabilitation facility at Kaziranga N P, India. He is currently holding the position of Chief Veterinarian at Wildlife Trust of India, a non profit organization. He is a member of the IUCN SSC Asian rhino specialist group and Asian elephant specialist group. He has been involved with the Indian Rhino Vision 2020 of Government of Assam, WWF India and other organization since inception. He has field experience of translocation and post release monitoring of rehabilitated rhinoceros in Manas and Kaziranga N P for the past 19 years.
